Shabu-Shabu/Horumon - What & How

What is Shabu-Shabu/Hormon?

Shabu ShabuShabu-Shabu is one of the Japanese hot pot dish prepared by submerging a very thin slice of meat swishing it back and forth several times and also cooking vegetables and tofu in a pot of boiling water. Cooked meat and vegetables are usually dipped in ponzu (soy sauce mixed with citrus and vinegar ) or sesame sauce.

How To Eat

We prepare home-made ponzu or sesame sauce. You will enjoy Shabu-Shabu with ponzu added a spoonful of our special yuzu kosho.

We also recommend to have the soup after eating all ingredients. Take the soup into your bowl and add salt, pepper and our special yuzu kosho to season. Put ponzu if you like. Please try the soup itself or add udon to the soup and eat. It would be tasty too.
