What is Yuzu kosho?
|
Yuzu Kosho is a specialty product from Kyushu (southern island of Japan) that is made from yuzu (Chinese lemon), kosho (green chili pepper) and salt. The yuzu kosho we serve in our restaurant is a special order blend, blended in a factory in Fukuoka (a city in Kyushu). The taste and spiciness is a bit strong. Yuzu kosho is not only used with yakitori, but it also can be used with sashimi and other dishes.
