Next Shin-Sen-Gumi Summer Festival - September 2011
Coming in 2011
Story About Our Fundraiser Event - SSG Summer Charity 2007
We are excited to announce our special 15th Anniversary event, hosting the Japanese-American Cultural and Charity Summer Festival at our main Yakitori restaurant in Gardena on Sunday, 26th, 2007. The location can be found on our map.
We hope that this event will be a reflection of our thanks to fans throughout Southern California communities, and of our extending commitment to providing exceptionally excellent dining experience marked by truly authentic Japanese foods, traditions, and mind.
With this in our mind, the event will include yatai (food stalls), games, traditional theatrical performance, karate demonstration, and festival dance & music. Our delighted guest is the traditional dance performers from the Amami Island, Japan, which has been selected as the world heritage site.
Through this experience, we wish to promote intercultural communication and culture exchange. Please join us in this event!
All the money raised on the date of the event is donated to the Foundation of Kagoshima (Japan), and the Japanese Education Resource (Torrance, CA).
Sincerely,
From all of us at Shin-Sen-Gumi
