I lived in Tokyo for 12 years, and I always enjoyed hakata style (tonkotsu) ramen when I could find it. When I came back to L.A. I went in search of really good ramen, and after many unsuccessful tries, I found Shin-Sen-Gumi... Their ramen is by far the best I've had anywhere in Los Angeles. That it's also hakata ramen is a wonderful bonus! Highly recommended!!!

I love this resturant and I love the Ramen. I think Manager, Itaru Ohmae, is the nicest guy around and is always very professional. Its because of him and his coworkers that I keep coming back. Thank you Itaru Ohmae!! Thank you to Shin-Sen-Gumi for the best food and service.
